Tournament Prize Payout Policy
The VGA Pro Tour is committed to rewarding competitive performance while maintaining a fair, transparent, and efficient prize distribution system for all players.
This policy outlines how tournament winnings are distributed to players competing in official VGA Pro Tour events.
Eligibility for Prize Payouts
Players are eligible to receive tournament prize payouts if they:
• Are registered participants in an official VGA Pro Tour event
• Complete their tournament round within their assigned tee time and group
• Submit valid scorecards according to league rules (Team Golf League Only)
• Are in good standing with the league
• Have registered with your full, legal name
• Payouts occur once you have accrued $100
Failure to follow tournament procedures or league rules may result in forfeiture of winnings.
Primary Payout Method
The primary payout platform for the VGA Pro Tour is:
Cash App
Cash App is used for prize payouts to players located in:
• United States
• United Kingdom
This platform allows for fast, secure transfers with minimal processing time.
Canadian Player Payouts
Because Cash App does not currently support Canada, players located in Canada will receive payouts through:
PayPal
PayPal allows secure international transfers and ensures Canadian players can receive tournament prizes without delay.
Alternate Payout Method
If a player located in the United States or United Kingdom cannot receive payments through Cash App, PayPal may be used as an alternate payout option at the league’s discretion.
Payout Processing Timeline
To ensure efficient processing:
• Players must submit payout details to the league
• Tournament results must be finalized and verified by league officials
• Prize payouts are typically processed within 1–3 business days
Delays may occur if payout information is missing or incorrect.
Currency Conversion & Fees
Players are responsible for any fees charged by their payment provider, including:
• Currency conversion fees
• Transfer fees
• Withdrawal fees
The VGA Pro Tour distributes payouts based on the official prize amount and does not cover third-party transaction fees.
Prize Pool Structure
Prize pools may vary by event and may include:
• Entry fee contributions
• League-sponsored prize funds
• Promotional or major event bonuses
Prize pool distribution will be announced prior to each tournament.
