The VGA Tour brings together players from around the globe to compete in weekly events, including the team-based Scramble League and singles Pro Tour. This page will guide you through everything you need to know — from registration and tee time selection to league structure and scoring.

To participate in VGA Tour events, make sure you have:

A Meta Quest headset
The Golf+ app installed and updated
A VGA Tour Wix website account
A Discord account - Join Server
Your Quest GamerTag
An Established Golf+ Pro Handicap (Pro Tour)
Handicap not required for D-Tour Players
A good attitude and respect for the league rules!

📝 How to Register

Joining the VGA Tour is quick and easy:

Head over to the Registration Page.
Choose your league: Scramble League (teams) or Pro Tour (singles), or both.
Once registered, you’re eligible to enter weekly events!

⚡ Note: You must register for each week’s event separately before Wednesday at 12 PM PT. The sooner you register, the more likely you are to get a higher preferred tee time.

🕒 Weekly Schedule

Each season runs for 6-8 weeks with a new course challenge every week. Here's how a typical week works:

🔓 Registration Opens: Sunday Midnight PT (for the following week)
⏰ Registration Deadline: Wednesday at 12 PM PT
🔺 Tee Times: Thursday to Sunday, select your 5 unique preferred times (times you can make).
🔸 Group Pairings Posted: Wednesday after 1pm PT

You must select 5 DEFFERENT preferred tee times when registering, You will be assigned to only one, but it could be any. We'll do our best to match your top choices. Early registration gets you a higher preferred tee time.

How to Join a Tournament Room in Golf+

following these steps ensures a smooth start for your round:

Before You Begin:

📶 Check your internet connection – A stable and strong Wi-Fi signal is essential.
⛳ Ensure you own the correct course – You can’t host without it.
🛠️ Know the tournament settings – Each round has required formats (tees, wind, etc.) that must be followed.
🎧 Add your playing partners on Meta ahead of time for easier coordination.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Log in early

Log into Golf+ at least 30 minutes before your tee time to handle any updates or headset issues.

2. Try to create the room first

Go to Multiplayer > Create Private Room
Room should be Private, Allow Friends to Join
Always set for 4 players in case tour officials need to join
Select the tournament course, game mode (typically Stroke Play), and required tournament settings
Name the room following the required format (e.g., “VGAPROTOUR4” or “VGADTOUR1”)
If you are able to create the room, congrats — it wasn’t made yet!
- Wait in the room and have your group join.

3. If you can't make the room...

That likely means another player already created it.
Go to Multiplayer > Join Room > Search by Name and enter part of the room name to locate it.
Join and confirm the settings with your group before starting.

🕒 Timing and Responsibility:

⏰ Rooms should be live 10 minutes before the official tee time.
👥 All players are responsible for verifying the tournament settings (tees, pins, wind, etc.) before play begins.
🎯 Rounds must start on time, with a 5-minute grace window. No early starts, no waiting longer than 5 minutes after scheduled tee time.

💡 Tour Rules & Policies

To keep play fun and fair for everyone, please follow these key rules:

✋ Play your scheduled tee time. No-shows or last-minute cancels will receive a DQQ and may be removed from future events.
❌ Zero tolerance for quitting rounds or restarting rounds. All rounds must be played to completion.
✔ Groups must include at least 2 players.
Golfers MUST wear GOLF apparel. (mobile app gives you the best options)
🏋 Pro Tour rounds are played on Pro difficulty, with varying settings.
🏆 Points are tracked using the Dubby Cup scoring system.
